The more Jarvis Landry talks. The more I listen. This guy is the epitome of what the Cleveland Browns have needed for years- and here’s why.

I know I’m not alone. I know I share this opinion with 99 percent of Indians fans. But the time for talking about Cody Allen being removed permanently from his closer role is over. It has to happen-NOW.
I don’t get it. I’ve always said Terry Francona is good at managing a lineup. He seems to have a knack for knowing when a player needs a day off. But I have been critical of his in-game decisions forever. Last night’s game against the White Sox just added more fuel my fire.

The Browns have been the doormat of the National Football League for years. The only way to change perceptions is to walk the walk and talk the talk. The Browns did do some talking, and then they did some walking (into the end zone).
I broke one of my personal fantasy rules last year. I put someone from the Pittsburgh Steelers on my roster. I NEVER wanted Steelers on my roster because I NEVER wanted to have to root for any Steelers player ever. But that changed last year. I made a trade for Le’Veon Bell. It’s the second day of training camp and the Browns quarterbacks are in the far corner of the practice facility. They’re tucked away from most of the crowd, lining up on the goal line, and attempting to toss footballs into a garbage can in the back corner of the end zone. There weren’t many people watching, but I was, and it did not take long for Baker Mayfield to steal the show.
I got the chance to attend Cleveland Browns training camp the other day. It was fun. I’ve attended Browns training camp in the past, but this one was different. Partly because I got the chance to talk to Browns Defensive Coordinator Greg Williams for a few minutes. What he told me would make any Browns fan feel really good about the upcoming season.
No one loves their sports teams like Cleveland sports fans. I’m one of you. I was born and raised five minutes from Downtown Cleveland and I (like you) have been through it all. One thing you quickly learn about Cleveland sports fans is how we love talking about our Cleveland sports teams. I’m hoping this blog provides a safe place we can all do this together. And I think I may have figured out what makes us all so crazy about our teams.
